I have been designing for social channels since 2008 creating the first Facebook page for ASOS. Since then I have designed social assets for clients across multiple social channels: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Graphics are designed to stand out in cluttered social timelines. Effective engagement is achieved by combining concise messaging with copy that is designed to be instantly legible at the timeline display size.
With clear objectives and marketing mechanics, ASOS facebook posts were highly effective. In the early days of facebook, marketing posts relied entirely on viral and organic distribution with great success.
