Titian’s Venice – The National Gallery

Exhibit for The National Gallery

Touchscreen UI design

Touchscreen interface design for Titian’s Venice exhibit in 2003 at the National Gallery in London. The design had to be user-friendly for all visitors, mostly a non-technical audience, and allow them to discover more about Venice and its most prominent citizens in the 15th Century. The exhibit was capable of delivering images, text, video clips and audio soundbites. A non-scolling interface with section tabs and pop-ups was the most viable solution because all of the content had to be displayed within the fixed aspect ratio of the screen.
